Overview

Shawan Ancient Town is located in the south suburb of Guangzhou. With well-preserved traditional Cantonese architectural houses, this is a quiet and nice town to wander around to explore the local temple, food with a local guide. There are two departures, morning and afternoon, and you can choose either one.

What To Expect

Shawan Aancient Town of Panyu
Today you will be picked up from your centrally located hotel, then take a private vehicle to visit the Shawan, an old town in the south suburb of Guangzhou, which started in Song Dynasty about 800 years ago. There are still well-preserved old houses in the town, and lots of local snacks. You can wander around the lanes to visit the temple, institute, family temple etc. and taste local ginger milk.
Afterwards, you will have an included meal before moving back to your hotel where the tour concludes.
